Happy 11th Birthday, Lawn Fawn! This is one of my favorite stamping companies. Not only do they have great customer service but fantastic products as well. Another reason to like Lawn Fawn stamps is because you can incorporate many sets into one card. As an example, I used Christmas stamp sets to make this birthday card. In fact, there were ten stamp sets that I used.

Recently someone announced on Lawn Fawnatics group, that their mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. To cheer her mom up she was wondering if anyone would be interested in making her mom a card. In the back of my mind I thought, I can relate since my mom had breast cancer, and sent her a message that I could send her mom a card. Here is my card! PS- my mom has been cancer free for 15 years and I hope and pray that her mom does too!
Swish /n Pop Pull Tab is pretty easy to assemble.
The elephants are from two different stamps. One is the newest version of Elphie Selfie Flip Flop, the other elephant is from Elphie Selfie.
The above photo is what the card looks like inside.

A friend asked if I could make a card for her husband’s birthday. I had to think what do I know about the family. I know that they vacation a lot in Hawaii or at least they used to before Corvid. The first stamp that came to mind was Lawn Fawn’s, ‘ I like (a lotl).
I made the traditional shaker card but then I ran into trouble. The sequences would get caught behind the axolotl or behind the seaweed. I deconstructed it and started again, this time. I made a double panel. The embellishments are in their own panel which gives depth to the card as if you are viewing in it from a portal. I learned a couple of things. The layers need to dry before you shake the card. If you shake the card while it’s wet the sequence get glued to the side. Given that I need to mail the card ASAP, I moved the card. Just remember to let the glue set before moving the card.

Lately, I have been thinking about how grateful I am for my family. How blessed I am to be apart of this world and the community that I live in. Lawn Fawn featured a special stamp set called, “Say What? Masked Critters”. My family is essential. People wearing masking are essential. I am hopeful that we will get past this pandemic together.

Every two week, Lawn Fawn features a challenge. Each challenge has a theme. For challenge number 92 the theme was, “Happy Occasions”. I originally made this card for a very special teacher. Mrs.B taught my youngest daughter in the first grade. Just to give you an idea of how special Mrs.B is, my youngest daughter is a 6th grader now, and we communicate with one another, five years later. Since then Mrs.B has moved to another state but to my daughter she is still a very special person in her life. Mrs.B recently had a son. The timing coordinated with the theme so I entered the card in Lawn Fawn’s challenge. Below is the picture of my card that was entered.
I want to congratulate all the other winners. Lawn Fawn has a strong following with artists from around the world. The cards that were featured in the challenge were pretty epic. In addition, I also want to thank Lawn Fawn for posting my card.
In the meantime, the card is in the mail in the hopes of making someone feel special!
Today’s card features Lawn Fawn’s Special Delivery Stamp set and Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-on. I used the Large Slimline set but extended it so the length of the owl and box of bird plus the bird house would look portional. The bird house needed to be anchored and not floating in the school so I took the liberty and added grass and mushrooms.
The birdhouse itself is embossed with Hero Arts Gratitude Background. The focus the owl so the birdhouse did not need to be a distraction, yet the added background gave the birdhouse texture.
The card is for a really special person who just had their first child. We are sending this person lots of love. The hearts are from Simon Says Stamp Heart Breeze die cut. Using Wink of Stella, to add sparkle to each of the hearts. In addition, to add shine I used Glossy Accents on each of the hearts.

Lawn Fawn’s color inspiration challenge as been on my mind and I keep thinking how can I meet this challenge. The design team from Lawn Fawn have chosen a set of colors and your challenge is to use those colors in a card. As I was going through my stamp sets from Lawn Fawn and the Beary Happy Holidays stood out because the bear is iceskating.
The bear figure illustrated on the front and the back which lends itself to a ‘twirly’ card. I used white thread and taped it to the front side of the bear. After glueing the back, I used medical take to secure the thread to the card. The card can sit by itself.
I used small blue balls in the window to make it look like water. They are from a company called Queen & Co. Link is included to make it easier to find. Thats it- I enjoyed making cards as well as painting.

Happy Wednesday! Today I am featuring Lawn Fawn’s Magic Iris Snow Globe, as well as Christmas Fishes. To make this card unique, I made it into a shaker card by using Little Things from Lucy’s Cards Splash embellishment.
Inspired by Lawn Fawn card challenge. This week’s theme is color inspiration, Lawn Fawn gives you a set of colors and you try to make a card using those colors.
Some products have been difficult to link. For example, Splash embellishment from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards, has been discontinued but you can find a ton of cute embellishments at her website. To make it easier I have included the link for you. Also, Heidi Swapp glittered and foil paper, I purchased Heidi’s paper back in 2015. I can not find a proper link, I can’t even find something similar to show you. However, I have included Heidi Swapp link to her website anyway. The paper is beautiful and deserves a proper credit when using.
Furthermore, the iridescent speckles that you see on the globe is from Hydra Colour. Elena is the owner of Hydra Colour and has been making handmade watercolors since 2017. Her handmade watercolors are creamy and vibrant. I used the watercolor called Neptune. Fair warning, if you are interested in purchasing this color, now would be the time to get it because her watercolors sell fast.

After five years of following the stamp industry you accumulate a lot of rubber stamps. This card features several rubber stamp sets from the same company, Lawn Fawn. I try to group the stamps from the same company because its easier to follow in case you might want to reproduce the card or do something similar. This is how I learned how to use alcohol markers, and card making techniques. I would purchase the same items that the artist was featuring and tried to reproduced the same card. I also took many online classes and watched YouTube videos. I feel compelled to list what I have used. Its almost like writing a school paper. Cite your sources! In case you are doing the same thing, trying to learn how to make a card, I have linked the items I could not find on Amazon. The link to Christmas Dreams stamp set by Lawn Fawn is linked here. The mountains and snow have dry glitter. I used multi medium matte to adhere Ranger’s Pour Style Antique Stickles dry clear glitter. You can find the dry glitter at Ranger’s website. I also linked it so it would be easier for you to find.
